Jump Sticks

Our jump (measuring) sticks are a big hit!  

These jump sticks will accurately measure jump heights in 3" increments from 12" to 3'6".  They will never go missing when labeled with your name, initials, club name, or whatever message you choose, and they come complete with a helpful leather hanging loop.

We are honored that one of our jump sticks was chosen as the "T.D. Stick of Approval" by Phil Burns, the T.D. at Eventing Rally, and presented to Becca W. in recognition of her invaluable assistance in making that rally happen.  

We create each jump stick by hand, notching the measuring increments, drilling a hole for the hanger, taping off the segments, painting the colors, applying clear-coating, marking the measurement numbers and lettering, and inserting the leather hanging loop.

All for $15.00, or $10.00 without monogram!

We will paint any combination of red, orange, yellow, hunter green, mint green, royal blue, chocolate brown, white, and silver.  Custom colors are available for an additional $5.00. 

The most popular color choices have been Sunshine Region colors (yellow and royal blue), Gator colors (orange and royal blue), and customized stable colors combinations.





All proceeds go to support Horseketeers programs, such as Horse Manager fees and coaching at rallies.

When was the last time you took a lesson from someone who rode in the World Equestrian Games?  Or were coached by someone who is presently competing at the Advanced level? If you rode with the Horseketeers at the Jim Graham and David Adamo clinic, your answer would be "Last weekend!" Beautiful weather, a gorgeous facility, enthusiastic riders of various ages, and phenomenal clinicians combined on September 17th and 18th to create a successful clinic for everyone who attended, including auditors.       Jim and David worked with four groups of riders, using teaching exercises suitable for horses and riders at the Pre-Beginner Novice, Beginner Novice, Novice, and Training & Above levels.  They emphasized directing the flow of energy from the horse's hindquarters via correct body position, while the riders schooled on dressage for jumping and over bending lines, uphill and downhill fences, a bank and a liverpool. Equine Education Day

The Horseketeers conducted their monthly un-mounted meeting for January by attending the University of Florida’s bi-annual Equine Education Day.   This special event is open to all Pony Clubbers, and provides outstanding education and instruction at all levels.   Whether you are a seasoned Pony Clubber looking to enter vet school, or have just joined and are unrated, all who attend walk away having learned many new things. The day-long event began with presentations by several of the UF Vet School faculty, some of whom were former Pony Clubbers themselves.   Those veterinarians who had been part of Pony Club commented that they found many of the classes they had taken in vet school were much easier because of what they had learned as members of PC!   They also commented that solid progress in Pony Club was highly valued by the admissions department of the Vet School.   This put big smiles on the faces of many attendees who were aspiring veterinarians!   The morning presentation

Show Jumping Rally 2011 Results

Hooray for the "Horsekegators" scramble team, which finished in first place in Division I this weekend! It was a real team effort, as Horseketeers members Rachel M. and Elizabeth M. joined forces with Alligator Creek members Christina T., Brittany B. and Lexi R. to create a winning combination.
